I

I had some friends a couple towns over who let me stay with them. I didn't tell them what had happened. They wouldn't believe me. I doubt any of you believe me.

I thought I was safe for a while. I thought he wouldn't find me there. I was wrong.

I was walking down the street one day, when I heard a motorcycle. I looked behind me, and I saw him. Sea was on a motorcycle, staring straight at me. We stared at each other for a little while. Then he spoke.

“I must complete the Tower,” he said.

He revved up the engine and drove straight at me. I jumped out of the way and jumped over a nearby fence.

I kept running. Every now and then, I stop running. I'll think that I've lost him. I'll think I'm safe. But I eventually learned the truth.

I'm never safe. I can never lose him. Not for long. He'll always find me again. I'll be able to slow down for a little while, stop at an abandoned house to rest. But I'll eventually hear his motorcycle outside the door, and I'll know I need to start running again.

I'm on the run from my brother.

I'm on the run from Sea.

I'm on the run from that damned metal skull.

Hate

He stayed locked in him room for a couple more days. The doctors still hadn't gotten back to me. He eventually came out. Or, the thing he had become came out.

He had even more things embedded in his skin. Pieces of his tv, various video game consoles, and on his chest was the PSP. He stepped toward me. I was scared, but I approached him as well.

“Are you okay?” I asked him.

His hand shot up and grabbed me by the throat.

“I must... complete... the tower...,” he muttered.

The PSP's screen became staticy, and I could see the skull again. It was in control of Sea now.

I kicked him off of me and started running. I ran as far as I could without looking back.

That

The next day, I went to check on him and see id the stuff had come off yet. It hadn't. As a matter of fact, it had gotten worse. His skin had began to grow over the objects. I told him that we should go back to the hospital and see if they could do anything about it. He snapped at me. Told me to get out of his room and leave him alone for a while.

Later that day, I found his PSP under one of the couch cushions. I thought I should bring it back to him, to try and cheer him up some. As I was bringing over to his room, it slipped from my hand, and hit the floor. The game inside of it popped out. I got a look at it, and panicked.

It was Tower Of The Newborn. It was my first time actually seeing the game. The picture on the UMD was of a metal skull The same metal skull I had seen before on that computer.

I picked up the UMD, ran to the back yard, and chucked it over the fence as far as I could. I stood there for a couple minutes, shaking. Whatever that game was, I think it's responsible for what happened to my brother.

He came to the back door a little later.

“What are you doing?” he asked me in this weird monotone voice. Something had changed about him.

“Nothing,” I told him. I turned to look at him, and saw that the PSP was now in his hand.

“Do you know what happened to the game that was in here?” he asked.

“No clue,” I lied.

“Okay,” he said. “Let me know if you find it anywhere.”

“Sure,” I said. He was definitely different. He had this vague exression on his face.

“Later sis,” he said, turning around and returning to his room.

I called the doctor afterwards and asked if they could send someone over to have a look at him. They said they'd see what they could do and send someone over.

Damned

False alarm. It wasn't him. It was just some punk driving by.

Anyway, I brought Sea to the hospital. We had him looked at by a doctor. The doctor examined him for about 20 minutes before another of Sea's headaches hit him.

He clutched his head and started screaming. Then things got really weird. The lights started flickering. The computer in the room became staticy and the doctors equipment started doing weird things. And then Sea said something about the skull again.

And I saw it. I saw the doctor's computer out of the corner of my eye. It was really staticy, but beneath all the fuzz, I could see it. The metal skull, staring directly at Sea.

I need to take a break. Recalling this stuff isn't easy for me.

Metal

Pkay, it took a while, but I managed t get something to eat. Not much, but at least I won't starve to death for a little while longer.

I can continue the story now.

Sea started getting these headaches. Somedays he'd have to stay in bed all day because he couldn't move without getting a migraine. Then he stated having nightmares. Always the same. Dreams about a giant meta skull. That's all he would ever tell me.

Then his house keys got stuck to his arm. He tried to get my help removing them, but there was nothing I could do. They were just stuck there. I'm not even sure how. There was no glue involed, or anything else like that. It was as if his skin was magnetized.

Over the next couple hours, he ended up getting even more stuff stuck to him. Coins, paperclips, silverware, an old cellphone that didn't work and I'm not sure why he still had it. Everything that stuck to him had some metal in it.

I had no idea what to do about it, so I took him to the hospital.

Shit. I hear a motorcycle outside. I have to wrap this up here.

Skull

Hello. I'm... let's just go with Sky. You don't need to know my name. I'm here to tell a story. It needs to be told. I can't say why. I just need to get this stuff out in the open. It's a story about my little brother... let's call him Sea. You don't need to know his name either.

He had an obbsession with video games. He loved playing them whenever he had free time. Although, there were times when he hated them. When things got too difficult, he would get mad and yell at his consoles. It usually didn't get too bad. But one day, he ended up breaking his PSP. Got so mad he smashed his fist into it. It looked fine on the outside, but he gave it some internal damage. It was while he was playing this new game of his. Something he called “Tower Of The Newborn”.

I think that's around when it started. He started acting different. I can't explain it very well. He got kind of depressive. I thought he might just be bummed about his game console being busted at first. Then he started complaining about his eyes. He said everything looked staticy, like he was viewing the world through a glitched camera.

Then more weird stuff started happening.

I'll talk more later. I haven't eaten in a couple days. I need to find some food.
